We are excited to announce the opening of our NEW flow line: SEND IT!

On October 5th, coinciding with the start of our new season, we will be inaugurating this incredible line, designed for flow lovers. SEND IT is a medium/high difficulty track marked with red, replacing the old race track known as “Intense” or “Öhlins.”
Why did we create this new line?
As many of you know, in this 2024 season we have set aside the Catalan Cup and focused on modifying the first section. All these changes stem from the need to adapt the red lines to be accessible and “rideable” for any user.
In the 2023 season, we introduced a very technical and demanding rock garden in the middle of the line to host the Catalonia Championship and offer competitors a new section where they could showcase their technical skills. This new section thrilled spectators during the event as they watched how each rider approached the rocks differently, putting their techniques to the test. On our side, we were excited by the feedback we received, and changes like the rock garden gave the line more of an “IXS Downhill Cup” or “World Cup” feel.

As a result of these modifications, the line as a whole adopted a very racing-focused approach, making it even harder for intermediate riders, who were interested in discovering this red-level line, to access it. The result was fewer visitors throughout the season and a less enjoyable first experience for riders new to the line. Additionally, the increased difficulty in wet conditions, which we often experience during the winter, further complicated things.
So, we got to work to give this line a completely different focus.
What will you find in the new SEND IT line?
Our goal with this line is what we’ve been aiming for for a while now: a fully flow-oriented and completely artificial line. We wanted a line similar to the blue one but with a higher level of jumps, achieving a red track with a perfect combination of features like tables, rollers, linked berms, sarkfins, and bonners.
In its first update, we created a top section with a combination of rollers that can be linked in different ways, followed by small rollers/tables leading to a section of linked berms. Further down, between the berms, we find some tables with ramps that act as launch pads to get more airtime for the “dirt lovers.”
In the new update, which you’ll be able to discover on October 5th, we’ve done most of the work. In addition to more berms and flow, we’ve added an incredible, seemingly endless straight filled with large tables, combined with rollers and other features that will delight airborne riders. All of this was designed and created in record time during our closure in July, August, and September.
The percentage of new construction in the line corresponds to 75%, with the remaining 25% being the final section of the line, which will use the old track until reaching the final jumps. Our projection is to complete 100% of the line over the next 3 or 4 months, so soon you’ll be able to enjoy a fully new flow line from top to bottom.
In summary, we’ve created a flow line that will not leave you indifferent, ideal for jump and freeride lovers. It combines the berms of the blue line with a variety of features like rollers and tables, while still remaining accessible to beginner-level riders. It’s inspired by tracks like the lower “Vink Line” at Bike Park Chatel or the “Whip it” at EVO Bike Park.
Here are a few photos of the creation process to give you an idea of what you’ll find very soon. We are currently finishing some berms and working on compacting the surface to have everything in perfect condition for the opening.
